Apple Orchard Photo Shoot
Austyn, if we could get together every few months- I think my life would be complete. I know today is no sunset beach session but I am so grateful to spend the day with one of my favorite OG families at a place so special to you! Even Annie came along for the fun today!
Today, we swapped out the sand between our toes for apple trees and pumpkin patches. Andddddd donuts too!
Fall today was F A L L I N G! We lucked out with a warm day and Hillcrest Orchards all to ourselves.
Not only were we having fun running around the orchard, but Austyn, I think you were having a blast ‘sampling’ the apples too! Seeing you read all the different types of apples and saying Ludacrisp was your favorite was maybe the highlight of today’s trip. When did you grow up so fast?!
No matter where you went Annie was ready to follow you! She was ready to be your little shadow and sniff out the best apples for you to pick. Although, I think the best spot we found to pick apples was on Dad’s shoulders!
Okay so let’s see on our orchard list, we picked apples, piled together for a family cuddle puddle, and devoured apple cinnamon doughnuts, made a quick stop at the pumpkin patch… there was only one thing left to do! I think before the sun was ready to fully set we were ready to finish our checklist with a good old corn maze fun!
It was Austyn and Dad against Mom and I! The fits of giggles echoing through the maze still make me smile. Mama and I may have gotten lost but honestly, we laughed our way through it!
Your family is truly the BEST and I am so grateful to be yours!!!
