Apple Orchard Photography | Leo 12 Months
Leo,
We had such a fun time with you on your birthday at the apple orchard! You’re finally turning 12 months old, and wow, have these past twelve months been eventful! We’ve see you from your maternity shoot, to your NB shoot, and finally your 12mo shoot, and it’s been so amazing and special watching you grow up to become the amazing and spectacular person we all know you’re going to be. Usually, your mom and dad like to go to Gervasi Winery during their time off, but I think you’re a bit too young for that — but, trust us, as soon as you are old enough, we’d love to have some fun with you at Gervasi too! For today, though, little Leo, the only extra ingredients your cider is spiked with is cinnamon and sugar and a hint of autumn fun.
The apple orchard was the PERFECT place for us to do this session. The weather was gorgeous and the light filtered through the leaves just so…. We also got to treat ourselves to some apples! And, of course, Leo, since you’re the apple of your parents’ eyes, there was no place more apt for us to do this shoot. We played around in the trees and picked some apples — they even had shorter trees for guys like you! — and welcomed the start of fall with joy and love.
We know that the joy and love that we saw at this orchard is going to carry you into adulthood and beyond, Leo, and we know that your parents love you so, so much. I hope you got a couple of extra apples to give to your teachers some day- you are so good at sharing joy! We’ll always be here to help you remember that even if the world is a little crazy right now, if we take a big enough bite out of it, we’ll be sure to get a sweet reward!
