Emma and Noah,
Yay! I am so excited that I got to see you guys again! I always have so much fun with your family and tonight was no exception!
I always love going to the creek to splash around and I love it extra when the weather decides to show out and be the absolute perfect night. I really can’t think of a better way to spend one of the last summer nights than with such a beautiful family!
Emma, even though I have known your family since your Daddy and I were in nursing school together, um… a whilllleee ago, you are always a little shy when we get started. I love being able to coax out little smiles and really bring out your personality as the shoot goes on. You are such a sweet gal with a big heart and watching you grow over the years has been so wonderful.
Noah, you are an adorable little man! How in the world does so much personality fit in an almost-18-month-old? I think the creek was the perfect place to see you in your element. The giggles! The smiles! Looking back on the pictures to edit them, I can still hear the laughter!
The whole family looked amazing, as always. I feel like dressing a whole family to go and play in a creek can feel a little overwhelming, but you rocked it. The light was perfect and the outfits were perfect and our time together was perfect.
I hope these pictures help you all to remember this snapshot in time. Little toes in the sand only stay little for so long. This summer has been a weird one, for sure, but the love of family is definitely the most important thing- and you guys have that in spades.
