ITS MITCHELL DAY!! Honestly, this day over the last eight years has become such a tradition that we eagerly await it every year. It really should be a national holiday. I know we say this every year but in our books it is a holiday.
This year we did things a little differently than our normal over-the-top magic at Ruth’s house. By keeping it simple, soft, and sand between our toes. Tonight we decided to chase the sunset at Edgewater Park with three kids and a spunky Lulu pup!
Henry, Rory, and Hayes, I can’t believe how big you guys grow each year. And even though I get to see you guys a few times a year, I am still amazed by the young little adults you are becoming. Henry, you are already in golf tournaments. Rory, you have lost four teeth! And our sweet baby Hayes, you have shot up like a little weed. You are almost as tall as Henry! And your precious personality for seeking adventure lives strong.
I couldn’t wait to see what kind of outfits your mama put you in for tonight because let’s be honest she never misses when it comes to this. You three came dressed in all white, with the boys in khakis and Rory in lace. Everything about your outfits was stunning and perfect for the beach.
I loved honestly everything about tonight. Our family photos, and solos of the kids but the best might be adding the little extra addition of Lulu!
Lulu was ready for any game with the kids!
We ended the night playing on the beach with a pink and blue cotton candy sunset, and maybe a little fun drink in the adult’s hands. Mitchell fam, I love catching up and talking the night away. I know I will see you guys at Christmas but my heart says that’s too far away.
