Welcome, Ava!
You are practically perfect in every single way! You are a gorgeous addition to a big, beautiful family and we are tickled pink to be part of capturing this growth!
We split your newborn session into two parts so that we could take time to honor Ava, the individual, and also honor Ava, the part of a bigger whole. I love that we did that. We spent several hours with you just getting to know you and hearing from your mama about your family dynamics and how excited everyone was to meet you. We got to spoil you a bit too and get a ton of pictures in a myriad of backgrounds and with a myriad of props. It’s not every day that I get to play with a real live babydoll and focus all of my energy and attention on her. This time with you was so very special for me and I will treasure it always.
Adding in the siblings was a blast for me too. I am beginning to think I just love spending time with your family because you are all so lovable. Your brothers and sisters are over the moon you are here. They’re at such a perfect age because they understand being gentle, but also are willing to help Mom out with things sometimes. There is always a line to hold you and I can see why. You’re snuggly and they’re happy to oblige you in your pursuit of snuggles.
It’s no secret that big families are my absolute favorite. Every day you will grow a little more and your relationships with your siblings will evolve and change and become these absolutely irreplaceable bonds that last a lifetime. Nobody will ever love you like your brothers and sisters do— except for maybe me because I do think you are pretty great.
I already can’t wait to see you again so soon!
