Cake Smash Photo Shoot

From the first time I met you I knew you were a party waiting to happen. In fact, just two months ago I got to spoil you with your very first Brittany Gidley photography photo shoot. We had such a blast together that I couldn’t wait until your cake smash to celebrate your sweet self turning one year old. And baby, you did not disappoint!
When you first arrived, you, ummmmmm didn’t care for this whole photo shoot thang. And we couldn’t understand why you weren’t the happy smiley little boy that we know and love. So we did what any fabulous photographer would do and we let you strip naked. Now THAT made you as happy as could be! So once we figured out the secret to your happiness, we had such a blast together! And this is your chubby cheeks and thick thighs weren’t enough to make my day, we added in cake!
Sitting in front of the beautiful bright blue backdrop (& now only half naked), You absolutely devoured your pretty little smash cake even offering some for us to eat off of your buttercream filled hands! Every time we are together, I’ve gotten to know you better and better that’s exactly who you are. You’re a generous loving little boy was so much joy to bring to and share with the world.
I feel so blessed to be the one to capture all of these firsts for you! From your first winter coat at Toy Factory to your first bubble bath photo shoot in your birthday suit, this session was so much fun for all of us & we can’t wait to see you and play again soon!!!
