What a wonderful start to the day!
My baby parents are always game to chase the morning light with me. I *almost* hate to ask, but I know you are probably up anyway. The sunrise is such a show-off and the sunrise through cherry blossoms is most certainly worth the alarm. Even Layla’s uncle got up extra early with us and came to watch and adore Layla for this special session.
The weather this weekend was so lovely and because we got up and got to shooting so early, we pretty much had the Cleveland Museum of Art to ourselves. That’s a real treat for me. Thank you guys for indulging me in all my ideas. It was fun to take advantage of all the different backdrops.
Layla was in a precious mood, despite the early rise. She gave me the sweetest grins and let me have a little peek at those brand-new teeth. You all looked great and the pink played off the pink in the cherry blossoms and made the images have such a seamless esthetic.
9 months is one of my favorite sessions in the first year because they are really starting to explore the world around them. Layla is getting more mobile by the day and if it interests her, she can crawl over and touch it, smell it, examine it, and taste it! My favorite part of the time together was probably seeing Layla experience the grass for the first time. She didn’t know what to think at first, but she certainly came around to enjoying it. I am honored that I got to capture that first with you all.
I am so excited to see you all back in 3 months for Layla’s first birthday session! She has grown so much this year and I can’t wait to play with her again soon!
