Aydan and Ethan, congrats on already finding your BFF for life! You’ve already been through so much together, and you’re not even a year old yet. We know that twins can be impatient, and we’ve had some experience helping out another pair of twins who were eager to enter the world, so we thought that we were prepared to handle the cuteness of you both, but we absolutely were not. You two blew us away! And we know that it’s still rather chilly up in NY (it’s a bit chilly here, too!) but you two warmed our hearts so much that we’re sure that upon your return, all the snow will melt off the streets and the daffodils will start blooming. If it doesn’t, well, you’ve certainly melted OUR hearts.
We’re so proud of you for surpassing all of the obstacles you’ve had so early in life, and we know that the rest of your life will be easy-going from here on out. I mean, how could it not be? You already have a partner in crime to get you out of any tight spots and difficult binds, you already have a teammate and a friend right out the gate. Between the two of you, there’s nothing you can’t do, and there’s nowhere you can’t go. You already went on your first road trip to us for your squishy eight-month newborn session! With a start like this, you’ll be able to fill novels upon novels with stories and adventures, and we can’t wait to hear all of the details.
Next time we see you, we know that you’re going to be even bigger and stronger than you are now. It’s hard to believe, but your parents and your loved ones are going to love you more and more as you grow up into the wonderful, amazing, strong people you’re meant to be. We’re going to continue to get prouder and prouder of you as you grow and change. We know that you’re going to grow into different, individual people (you already are!) but we hope that the sense of camaraderie between you stays the same no matter how old you are. We can’t wait to see who you become and cheer for you on the sidelines and you take the center stage for years and years to come.
