Happy Birthday, precious Princess Austyn!
One of my favorite BGP traditions is getting to return to Edgewater Beach with your beautiful family year after year to capture updated images of you three! We did maternity pictures of your Mommy at Edgewater Beach when you were in her tummy still (which feels like a lifetime ago!) and while I feel like that was just yesterday, but you are already almost 6. GAHHHHH. SIX. Do I laugh or do I cry?!
I have been with you through the chubby baby stage, the curly baby hair stage, the newly walking stage, the vocabulary explosion stage, the terrific threes stage, and the school stage and I have memories and stories about all of those times with you that I carry with me every day. It is such an honor that I get to be a consistent check-in during your beautiful life. I love taking pictures, but this business is about more than pictures… it’s about relationships and family. When your Mommy and I plan this time year after year, I practically get giddy because I know that I will get to spend time with people that I love so dearly. Your Mommy thinks I help make your dreams come true with the images we capture (okay, fair that’s true), but it’s actually families like yours that make my dreams come true every day. What a privilege.
This year at the beach was one of the most gorgeous sessions we’ve had yet. The sunset was full of the pinks and purples that you read about in books, but so rarely see in real life. We captured them all. We grabbed all of the family shots and then we just played. You loved the water and the sand and rolling around and splashing and just being six. I loved watching you. I know this will be a very big year of growth for you and I already can’t wait to see you back at Edgewater Beach for your 7th Birthday! I love you Austyn! From the string cheese & sticky rats to the cotton candy skies- and back!!!
