I am so glad the weather finally cooperated so that we could get together to shoot Gracie and Ben’s yearly birthday shoot! Getting rained out earlier was a super bummer, but the warmth this week could not have made for a more pleasant day if we had special ordered it!
This whole shoot from beginning to end was fall goals. You all were dressed impeccably and you’re all just so dang gorgeous! I need to know who to talk to about getting you a magazine cover because this shoot was just *chef kiss* perfection.
The pictures on the bench with the beautiful, vibrant pumpkins and mums were awesome, but can we please take a moment to give mother nature and the tree-lined path a round of applause. It’s like you guys were standing in the natural spotlight surrounded by warmth and ushering in the changing of the seasons.
Gracie and Ben have been with me their whole life and they warmed up to me so quickly. They gave me all of their best smiles. Ben gave me some of those precious little smirks like he was letting me in on a little secret which is just the best. He tells such a story with his expressions and is just an endless delight. I can’t get over how much Gracie has grown too. She is so mature and self-assured in the sweetest, most loving way. She has such a grace about her too, which I realize is apropos given her name, but it’s true.
Watching Gracie and Ben grow into these amazing people is such a treasure. I am just so honored to be a little part of your story. I never wish away time, but I already cannot wait to see you again.
