Thank you for taking us on this super special adventure, Charlotte, Parker, and Preston! Usually, we’re the ones who make the shoots and prepare the sets, but today we all got to take a road trip over the river and through the woods to Grandma’s house! …Okay, it might’ve just been a short drive to Gate’s Mills, but with the right company, any trip feels like an adventure! And boy, was this the setting of an adventure! It could’ve been the center of any fairy tale with its secret gardens and short stone fences. It was GORGEOUS. And grandma was so nice, too! She offered you popsicles if you behaved — which made working with you a BREEZE!
It was magical to take pictures for you at your mom’s childhood home, but the most magical part was when little Preston started getting on the move! While we were there taking pictures, little Preston started crawling for the first time ever!!! It. Was. Amazing. We can’t believe we got to get such an important moment on camera — can you say goals?? Red light green light with mommy and daddy wasn’t an issue Preston, but Charlotte and Parker already had the whole walking and talking thing down pat! Charlotte even showed off her pretty dress with some fantastic twirls (I was getting dizzy just watching her!).
We’re so thankful that you added a little magic into our day. You three are precious, and your parents (and grandma!) just radiated love and happiness. It’s not often we get to make history on a set that already has so much history — the same house where mommy grew up, Preston got to take his first crawling movements. Your family is going to have so many more amazing memories in these secret gardens and fairy rings, and I hope to be able to capture a few more so that you can always remember what it’s like to have a little bit of magic in your day.
