I have done families, I have done extended families, but nothing compared to the family party I was entering today! You guys are by far the biggest family I have shot in a while and easily one of my favorites. Today was not just a time for family to be together but a special birthday celebration! Arlene, you may have turned 90 today but the true treasure was the legacy you and your husband Joe of seventy-one years have made! What an inspiration the two of you are to us.
Arlene and Joe, I am not even sure where to start! One of your amazing Granddaughters reached out and wanted to make your typical family gathering into the best surprise she could. And I knew there was no way I could miss this event! They made sure no small detail was missed in celebrating your amazing life! We got to hear about your treasure of a love story and the start of this family legacy. Two children, three granddaughters, and now eight spunky great grandbabies!
Everyone is as magical as the next. They all love each other but more importantly, they love you the most!
One of my favorite things about today was everyone made me feel like one of the family! Telling me to put the camera down, and enjoy some food and champagne. You know I will never say no to some bubbly!
I captured the family as a whole, everyone in their family unit, and even one of just the great-grandkids! I think the star of the show was little JJ! Everyone wanted a photo with him. Being the baby has its perks sometimes! What an amazing night celebrating such a special occasion! Happy 90th Birthday Arlene!
