Sweet Baby Christina you rocked our world tipping the scales at just shy of 10 lbs and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Like so many little loves- you came on your own terms- which is completely fine by us. Your parents were patient & calm- giving you a peaceful welcome into this world of love.
I will never forget the look on your daddy’s face when they yelled out ‘It’s a girl!!!’ or the tears of happiness that your mom just couldn’t hold back when she touched your smooth cheeks & kissed you for the very first time. Watching you become a family, at that moment, took my breath away.
My favorite part of the day was at the very end… when they gave you to me. They let me hold & enjoy you after a long & perfectly imperfect day. What a blessing that was. From even those first hours of life… you have brought so much joy.
