Welcome Baby Lew!
You, my darling, were so anxiously anticipated and are so very loved. It was truly my honor to take your newborn photos for your Mommy and Daddy. You, sir, were an absolute dream at our shoot just as I knew you would be.
You may not know this, but your Aunt Valerie is one of my very best friends from my whole life. I have known your Mommy since she was much younger too and cheered when you decided it was time to join us right alongside them both. The week you came to the studio was a long and busy one for me, but seeing you in your parents’ arms made all my stress melt away. Family is what it is all really about and as someone who has loved your family for a long time, I know that you are part of one of the very best.
In every picture, you are just a perfect squish. You slept like an angel and you also woke up for me a little too at the end so that I could have a chance to stare into those big beautiful eyes. Mommy and Daddy chose a very neutral look for your shoot and I love it so much because the neutral backdrop showcased you and all your adorable newness. I was so surprised to see that you have such light hair. I thought for sure that you would be Mommy’s clone, but instead you are just a masterful mix of Mommy and Daddy both! Your hands are so tiny and precious and you make the sweetest expressions- especially when in Mommy and Daddy’s arms- like you’re so content and at peace.
Our time at BGP was truly a family affair! I got to see my bestie Valerie and our other bestie Lindsay. We all got to hold you and love you. You were such a good sport letting us all pass you around and soak up all the goodness of a new baby… especially one as loved and prayed for as you!
I am thrilled to be even a small part of your story. You, sweet Lew, will move mountains.
