Sam,
So writing this post to you is so exciting for me. Long before you were created your awesome mommy has been a fan of mine- reading these fun blog posts of babies of all shapes and sizes. And now… it’s her turn. And I can’t even tell you how good it feels to gush about you- right here for her to see and to share because you’re not just any baby- you are HER baby. And I wish I could see the huge smile on her face as she reads this because it’s got to be a little bit surreal. Wow. Amazing.
I’ve been thinking of what I will write to you since your mommy’s maternity sessions a few short months ago. I chatted with your parents as they told me how they dreamed about what you would look like, who you would act like and how it would feel to take you home. And you know what? All of those dreams and more came true. I have never placed eyes on happier parents than yours.
You are nothing short of incredible. The one thing that people don’t give babies much credit for is their power. The power to create love that you never imagined possible and the power to heal even the most broken of hearts. Sam, you are an incredible blessing and it’s no accident that you are safely in their arms tonight. Our loving Father created you with so many sweet familiar features of your big brother, safely delivered you to the best parents on Earth and has placed you exactly where you need to be to grow into a person who will continue to bless others.
To be chosen to do your newborn session was a thrill and an honor for me & I hope that when you look back on these someday you will see with your own eyes just how loved you really are.
