Happy Birthday, sweet little Parker!
At BGP, we call them “dream sessions” because we want to make all of our families’ dreams come true when they have a session with us. This year, you guys, made all of MY dreams come true with this magical weekend. I was already head over heels in love with your family before, but getting to know the whole gang just made Gids and I fall that more in love with you all.
The lake was the perfect setting for this family setting because it’s such an important place to all of you and well, Mother Nature really showed up and out for this one. The light was gorgeous, the bugs mostly stayed away, and the models were the best. Parker was all grins and she did not mind one bit being the star of the session. That is the energy we should all be bringing to 2022. She grinned, she laughed, she got her precious little toes wet, and she had a great time while I just captured her living her best life. The cake was probably Parker’s favorite part of the day and I loved it. One-year-olds are hit or miss with the cake sometimes, but Parker knew just what to do and smiled the whole time!
The whole session really just went so well. I couldn’t have asked for a better day with better people. Everyone looked fantastic and capturing this busy and exciting time in your lives was a real treat. I also love that everyone was game for all my ideas. Looking at you, Mom and Dad for that swoon-worthy water picture… you guys have still got it!
I can’t believe that Parker is one already and that Kaleia is almost 4. I never take for granted just how blessed I am to get to watch these babies grow and grow alongside families, but this one hits different. When we are with you guys, we feel like family. I am especially thankful that I get to be part of all of your lives. I already can’t wait to see you again.
