How do you do, Princess Emersyn!
We have all been dreaming of this day since before you were born. Every time I saw your Mommy, we would talk about how we would take you to Magic Kingdom and capture the day so that you can always have a little of that Disney wonder hanging in your home. I can’t tell you how many days I spend daydreaming about this morning and what it would be like. Now that we have done it, I can tell you that it exceeded ALL of my expectations. It was a magical day in a way that only Disney can deliver.
It was extra special that we were able to spend the day at Disney on the day before your 4th birthday. First, where has the time gone? You’re already 4! I can still remember what it felt like waiting for you to make your grand appearance and how snuggly you were as a newborn. Since time passes anyway, I am extra thankful for the time I got to spend with you in what I can assume is- both of our favorite places.
4 is the absolutely perfect age for the Magic Kingdom. There is so much to see and so much to do, but there is always time to take it all in. Being there with you, Emersyn, helped us all to slow down and absorb the little details and the not so little details that make Disney so magical. I love all things, Disney, anyway, but seeing it through your eyes reminded me of why time there is so special. To celebrate and be celebrated surrounded by family, friends, and a couple of thousand strangers and still feel like everything is just for you! In our world that day, everything definitely was just for you. You are so loved by your parents and you are so loved by us.
