Happy Birthday, Miles!
The weather in Cleveland was not trying to cooperate, but we made magic anyway at Brecksville Reservation for your big 1st birthday!
We were going for a chic shipwreck and I think it’s safe to say we nailed it! Nautical Miles was the theme and we pulled it all the way off. We had messages in a bottle. We had treasure maps. We had sailboats. And treasure- buried treasure!!! We had it all. And, it was perfect!
Miles, you and your big sissies came ready to be your absolute cutest selves. We got the best family pictures with your sweetest smiles. We got some with Mom and Dad and even Grandma and Grandpa too! You all rocked those and then you let me snag tons of individual shots and sibling shots that I know your parents will treasure forever.
Your big sisters are so gentle and precious with you. You guys have a lifetime of fun ahead of you full of giggles and adventure. I just know it. I come from a big family and my sibling relationships are so precious to me. You have some of the best big sisters and I can’t wait to watch how you all grow together.
I don’t think cake time was your favorite as per usual for my 1-year-olds. You gave me some precious, precious grins when it was time for cake even if you weren’t quite so sure about it. Cake is sooooo good, buddy. I promise. I bet you’ll get the hang of it before too long and be just as excited about cake when you see it as I am!
You are going to be off and running in no time. It is so fun to watch you grow and I already can’t wait to see you again!
