Manhattan Newborn Photographer | Introducing Samuel
Sam, you’ve come a long way to see me! All the way from the little island of Manhattan in New York to the shore of Lake Erie. You even brought your puppy Yohshi for the fun! I know that things didn’t really shake out how we expected or wanted this summer, but you and your parents make do and keep flexible when overcoming all these obstacles. With a bit of luck and a few puppy kisses, we got to see you and give you our love in person for this shoot.
We at BGP and your parents have loved you for a long time, little one. I’ve known your parents for a long time now & have always loved their company. They’re gorgeous people with gorgeous souls and I can’t wait to walk with them through this new stage of life. So even when times get rough, know that you have really strong and sweet parents who will fight with you to overcome anything in your path (even a global pandemic!).
That said — you weren’t worried about life obstacles when you were with us at BGP! You were cuddled up with Yoshi and snoozing to your hearts’ content. Your little toes poking out of the blanket were SO CUTE! And your hair is simply gorgeous — it looks like all the hair from your dad’s head moved down to yours! I keep telling your parents to style it into a mohawk, but they haven’t taken me up on the suggestion…yet. Maybe they just trust me more with a camera than with hair clippers. Whatever way you style your hair or cuddle in your blanket, you’re going to be the most precious thing in your parents’ area code (considering they live in Manhattan, that’s quite the accomplishment).
Thank you for traveling all this way for me to meet you, Sam! I know that long trips are hard for folks as little as you, but you’re a trooper like your parents. Next time, I’ll visit you, and we can see about getting a barber to get you the coolest haircut in town. Until then, stay safe, and keep your parents from getting into too much trouble– I still have many more shoots I want to do with you three!
