Happy Birthday, Darling (and Dapper) Dean!
We all thought you were going to just jump right in to your cake and smoosh it everywhere, but you were a perfect gentleman. In fact, you were an absolute gentleman the entire time. You are such a calming presence and for a one year old, I think that speaks volumes!
We had so much fun playing with you at your special birthday shoot. We got to do so many outfit changes and you were the cutest in all of them. I don’t know how any of us could ever pick a favorite outfit or pose. Every picture of you is amazing.
You are so very sweet, of course. Your precious personality is the star of every show and I do think we captured it with the camera. However, if your demeanor didn’t grab everyone’s attention, one look at those gorgeous baby blues and the show is officially stolen. You looking up at me under those thick, dark lashes with those bright eyes melted me right into a BGP or Brittany Gidley puddle.
I can’t believe it’s been one whole year since your newborn shoot. I have loved you before I met you and watching you grow into a toddler in no time makes me love you even more.
Thank you for bringing Mommy and Daddy with you to the studio. Your parents hold a very special place in my heart and it’s always so good to see them. They have settled into parenthood so beautifully and watching them smile at you makes me smile too. You are their biggest blessing. And, personally, I think you’re pretty lucky to have them too!
I am ready to see you again even though I just saw you. See you soon, Dean. You’re the best.
