Welcome to the world, Baby Jace!
It was such a joy to meet Jace and see your beautiful family in the studio again!
I have so many favorite things about this shoot with you guys that I really have no idea how to pick just one. Obviously, meeting Jace was a major highlight! He is absolutely, positively perfect. I see a lot of babies and I consider myself an authority on baby perfectness and he is perfect in every way. There is one picture of him smirking while resting one hand on his chest and one hand on his smooth, tiny foot that made me think I needed to retire because there is no way I will ever be able to capture anything as perfectly timed as that again. I have officially melted.
Seeing Sophia back in the studio was another highlight! She is so gentle with her brother. She has grown to the loveliest little lady and I am blown away by her sweet disposition. Also, she could not be any cuter! I mean- seriously. Those curls! Those cheeks! That proud smile! I already know she is an amazing helper and will be Jace’s protector and best friend. He is so at ease and comforted by her presence. This relationship is going to be so fun to watch as they grow.
I also love that both sets of grandparents were able to join us in the studio. Jace is such a lucky boy to be surrounded by so much love right from the start! Grandparents are treasures. Jace seems to know that already because he just sunk into the arms of his grandparents. After all, he knew he was blanketed with so much protection and adoration.
The pictures with Daddy and Mommy are scrumptious too. I am a sucker for the nose to nose picture with Dad. I love seeing these tough guys tenderly hold these tiny bundles. I know one day there will be baseball games and wrestling with Dad, but for now it’s gentleness and smallness.
Last, but certainly not least, I have to mention how Mommy just absolutely glowed! Jace slept so soundly in your arms and didn’t make a peep even when I moved him this way and that. The comfort that comes from being cocooned by the person you love the most in the whole world trumps everything- even me and all my lights!
Jace is the perfect addition to your amazing family and I cannot wait to watch him grow.
