Your Mommy and Daddy’s love story is one of my favorites. The world just kept bringing them back together over and over again until they finally figured out that they were meant to be. They have a wonderful love story, but I am willing to bet that their favorite product of their love story is you!
I know the studio can be a bright and strange place sometimes. You slept plenty so that I could get lots of those sleepy new baby shots. You also looked around a good bit and let me capture those baby blues. In a few shots, you look a little concerned about what is going on. Healthy skepticism is important. Keep that.
Even though you furrowed your brow at me once or twice, you still had the sweetest little disposition. You were most comfortable in your Mommy and Daddy arms. I know from the way you contently sighed and the way that I watched your body completely relax that you feel so safe with them. I am always captivated by the way that a little person can trust so completely and how parents would move heaven and earth for their tiny bundle. I have always heard that having a child is a lot like having your heart walk around outside your body and seeing parents like yours love you so deeply makes me know that is true.
Your Mommy told me that even before your family was a family of three that she knew she would be asking me to capture your first days. I am unbelievably honored by that and hope that the art we created together will always remind your parents of this time when everyone is a little sleepy and you’re all getting to know each other. With each passing day, I know your parents will love you more even when they don’t think it’s possible.
