You were the Christmas gift that came early… really early.
The beginning of your life wasn’t what we had envisioned- 2 chunky newborns ready to eat and grow. But instead we see little boys fighting to breathe with an uncertain future.
But what our eyes see can be deceiving.
Because the realness is that you fiesty little boys came with a fighting spirit and a soul that refuses to give up.
I don’t have the answer for why this happened. Or even what the future holds. But here is what I do know.
I know that your mom and dad will do ANYTHING for you boys. Any. Thing.
I know that we serve a God who can change the medical report with one breath of His favor.
And I know just how LOVED you are by friends, family, and strangers around the world. There is strength in numbers and your numbers just so happen to be backed by prayers and prayer warriors. What more could two little boys need in their corner?!
My personal prayer for you both is that this is the struggle of your life- and that the rest of your life will be easy. Filled with joy. Filled with each other. And filled with unending love.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve you right now. And for the glance into the NICU that your mom and dad have allowed to bring awareness to not just the two of you but also to all of your sweet preemie friends up and down the hallways of the NICU.
