Happy birthday, Soraya! We’re so glad that we got to spend your birthday with you and party with you and your family on this super special day! You are the bravest little birthday girl we’ve ever met, smiling and laughing on all of the sets that we had for you. We met your mom and your dad and had a big party for you, complete with cake of course! It was an absolute dream come true for us too! And your mom and dad were absolutely swooning over you the entire time (who wouldn’t be?). Your mom’s skirt even matched the dress that we picked out for you! We couldn’t have planned it more perfectly if we had tried.
I hope that you get so many perfect moments like this, Soraya. Moments where you can celebrate your family and the love you share, yes, and moments where you get to celebrate your existence and place in this world. You’re truly something special, and you deserve to be celebrated the way that the wonders of the world deserve to be celebrated. We’re so happy that you’re here, and we can’t wait to see who you become (spoiler alert: we hear that one of the things you’re going to become soon is a BIG SISTER!!! Holy cow! How lucky is your little brother going to be???)!
All in all, brave girl, we can’t wait to see who you become as you grow older and wiser and face bigger and scarier challenges. But for now, enjoy your swing sets and enjoy all of the adventures life gives you. Enjoy your mom and dad doting on you as the only child, and enjoy spending time with your little brother. We know that there’s nothing that you can’t tackle, and there’s nothing you can’t do — except, perhaps, for resisting that birthday cake. But, hey, you deserve a treat as sweet as the life you’re going to have. We hope that we can share a bite or two with you as you grow up. Until then, stay brave, Soraya.
