North Ridgeville Newborn Photography | Introducing Layla

Lovely, Little Layla! Welcome to the world!

You are practically, perfect in every way and your Mommy and Daddy are over the moon.  You slept so sweetly for me after the *ahem* code brown.  You missed us mostly though so no complaints here!  If it got you to sleep through all my posing and wrapping and headband changes then it was worth it!

I am nearly positive that whoever wrote “sugar and spice and everything nice is what little girls are made of” was thinking of you. This shoot was about capturing all the details that are so fleeting.  The wrinkles of your tiny fingers. The scrumptious rolls on your back.  The delicateness of your eyelashes.  The softness of your skin.  We did all of that and I love every image, but I am also excited to see you back every 3 months to see how you grow!  The first year feels like it passes in the blink of an eye.  Every new day is a new experience and you’re just afraid to blink almost.  I know these pictures will help your parents remember this time when sometimes the days ran together, but their love for you grew every day!

We got some family shots of you with your parents too.  I have never in all my days seen parents more enamored.  They were practically beaming, Layla. Even though you slept like a dream, it was obvious to me that you were even more at peace in their arms.  Your little sighs of contentment and the way you melted into their arms melted my heart.

I am excited to see how your family continues to grow in love over this first year.  You’re a special little girl with special parents that love you more than life itself.

P.S. Sleep for your Mommy and Daddy like you did for me in the studio, please.
