Lovely Lana,
You are a dream come true! I do lots of newborn shoots and I rarely actually squeal with delight, but every picture of you made me squeal.
During your sesh, you barely made a peep even though I was busy catching up with your amazing family and chatting away in between clicks. I love that we were able to go full girly glam with your newborn pictures because you were born for diamonds and pearls. We all had so much fun doting over you and picking out the perfect accessories.
I have known your family since before you or your big sister joined the family and watching your family grow has been such a joy to me. I might also be slightly biased because I love you all so much, but you are all gorgeous too!
Lana, you are so lucky to not only have parents that treasure you, but also a big sister that adores you. Avery handled you so delicately during our shoot and with a gentleness not usually reserved for a three-year old. I already know that the two of you will be the best of friends as you grow and that your relationship will carry you through your lives. Love multiplies. That is never truer than the love between the two of you already.
We couldn’t help but take some pictures of Avery alone at your newborn shoot too. She was giving me all the Cinderella vibes with her flowing blonde hair and her blue dress. I also adored all the pictures we were able to get of your whole family together. A newborn shoot is always about capturing the perfect newness of the baby, but also about the perfect, newness of your family.
Newborn days are a haze of sleeplessness and diapers and bonding and having pictures to capture those first days when the family is really beginning to bloom is so important. I know your parents will treasure these photos and moments for years to come.
