It was so wonderful to see you back in the dream studio and to see how much the kids had grown! What amazing, funny, and smart kids they are too!
My favorite thing about this session was that these pictures were a holiday gift to Mommy. That’s a man that gets it! Our lives are so busy and it’s easy to let family pictures fall to the bottom of the priority list, but they’re such a great way to capture life and the ever-evolving family dynamic. It was my privilege to do these pictures for your family!
I love the artistry of photography, but what I really love is capturing moments. Scotty, Vera, and Giada served up plenty of little moments during our shoot. All three of them were the best, most fun models and I’m sure that only has a littttttle bit to do with the bribes. I know Mom put in a lot of work picking out outfits too because everyone coordinated so beautifully and the kids were perfectly coiffed. Also, can we just take a moment to talk about everyone- and I mean everyone’s!- beautiful smiles. You guys can figuratively and literally light up a room!
I so enjoyed recreating the picture during this shoot that we took on the bed when Giada was an itty bitty baby and Scotty and Vera were only toddlers. The kiddos are a bit older now but your family was as kind, fun, and loving as always.
I hope that the pictures we were able to capture bring your family happiness for years to come. This stage in life, as I’m sure you well know, will pass too quickly. May these images always take you back to this sorta in-between time where the kids are starting to exert some independence but you’re their anchor and their constant.
