Oh Peter!! There is just so much I want to say about my time with you, but first I just cannot get past how perfect you are in every way. I am beyond thrilled your parents decided to share this moment with me all the way from Pennsylvania. I can already see how beautifully they are settling into parenthood. After your maternity shoot, the days were being counted down to meet you and finally reveal the biggest kept secret of who you were going to be!
The list of names I am sure was a mile long, but once you entered the world, it was no question you would be named after the best tradition in your family. After both of your grandfathers, the overwhelming feeling of love I can feel all the way to Cleveland.
Peter, you were ready for this session and no one could tell me otherwise! Even after your long journey, you were still a sleepy cuddle bug. With a full head of hair! It was already growing over your ears. Your mama said it might be time for a haircut because of how long and thick your hair is. Someone could say you got those genes from your daddy. Looking at you, I can see the resemblance between the two of you for sure! You have your daddy’s eyes, thick hair and the rest is alllllllll your gorgeous mommy!
With long fingers and toes, your dad was flipping through all the sports you could play when you grow up but secretly, I know he is dying to take you out onto the golf course. I heard you are watching it with him already!
Regardless of which sport you decide to play, I hope you grow up to have your daddy’s smile and mommy’s sweetness. I will count down the days till we can all see each other again!
