Eddy and Claire, we had such a great time with you at Stan Hewitt here in Cleveland! We took you to the prettiest place we could find since you were so kind as to visit us from the prettiest place we can imagine — all the way from Maui, Hawaii. We know it isn’t all about us — you have family up here too — but we’re so so grateful that we got to meet such excellent people and show them all of the beauty that the Great Lakes and Upper Peninsula of Michigan have to offer.
We took you the most beautiful garden with gallons of bubbles to blow and lots of butterflies to catch. The flowers here are completely different than the ones that you’re used to. We hope that when you look at this pictures, you’ll be able to remember the time that you saw your family up in Michigan, the bubbles you blew, and the butterflies you chased on a carefree Summer day. We took your mom through the trees and the flowers and she was absolutely glowing in the soft light. We let you girls be girls, having an absolute blast and enjoying the experience of being in a new place with people you love.
Eddy and Claire, we hope you get so many experiences like this in your life. We hope that you get to see so many new places and get to meet so many new people that your picture albums are thicker than dictionaries and your memories are brighter than the sun. We know that this is just one set of pictures out of the thousands that you’re going to have throughout your life, but we hope that you treasure them, anyway, because every single moment like this deserves to hold a special place. And we hope that as you continue to grow, to learn and see more, that you’ll invite us to see these new things with you. I hope that your fresh eyes give us fresh perspective, but most of all, that these fresh sights fill you with as much joy as seeing you fills us. Aloha little ladies!!!
