JJ! I couldn’t believe my eyes when you came into the studio today! You are no longer my sweet little sleepy baby anymore! You are all grown up! You still have those scrumptious squishy rolls but you are now three times the size!! I don’t think we realized when we put you into the Browns helmet at your newborn session that one day you may be wearing that helmet 12 months later! JJ, you have grown so much in just one year. Mama said you even took ten steps at home before coming in today. Amazing! You are truly on the move and I couldn’t wait to capture those busy vibes of yours today!
In true fashion from our newborn session, you remain the perfect little model. I am so happy your hair stayed it’s soft blonde and your eyes grew an ever brighter blue. But this time, you brought your whole entourage in for fun! We had all of your amazing siblings here today rooting you on! JJ, it’s very clear how much everyone in your family loves you! Each one of your older siblings took turns holding you in their arms while you laughed at their silly antics. Coming from a big family myself, I loved watching the interactions between all five of you. To others, it may seem like chaos. But in reality, it’s everyone loving each other with all their heart!
After squishing the family together for family photos, it was time to smash your beautiful blue and white cake! I know a few of your siblings were eyeing to sneak a bite. And who could blame them? You smashed right into that cake and got that tasty buttercream all over! Just what it should be for a first birthday celebration!
JJ, thank you for such an awesome time today as we celebrated you turning one! Your family adores you and I am so excited to see what this next year will bring! Keep growing into the strong man you will become and I can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
