Tea For Two Bunny Dream Session | The Herrick Family
Lily and Kennedy, we had SUCH a ball hanging out with you two! Tea parties are my absolutely favorite way to spend the warm spring days, and you two were the perfect companions. We had tea (of course) and cakes surrounded by chrysanthemums and hydrangeas — you actually had the honor of being the first to pose in front of the new flower wall!
And, of course, we couldn’t let Lily go home without a special surprise for her two-year-old birthday! We had a couple of guests for you two, to make sure you had the hoppiest birthday ever — we might’ve gone a hare overboard, but you had such a great time that nobody could stay hopping mad for long. If you haven’t figured it out yet– yes, the guest star for this was a couple of darling bunny rabbits. Lily and Kennedy, you two were so sweet and kind with them, petting them and taking care of them as well as you take care of your cats at home. You played and put them on the swing — honestly, we think that you were more excited for the bunnies than for us! (Totally understandable, by the way. We loved the bunnies too).
It’s amazing to see how kind and compassionate you are even at only two years old. When we were that young we were running around chasing chickens with sticks! You’ve already got the head start on us when we were that age, and we know that you’re all grown up, you’re going to be just as sweet and compassionate as you are now. I can’t wait to see you next year (or sooner!) — who knows what guest star we’ll have next??? (Trick question, you’re always the star). Till then, keep swinging!
