Welcome Baby River!
Your parents are some of my dear friends and I feel like I have been able to be with them through this journey in my own little way. I did your Mommy and Daddy’s gender announcement and have been daydreaming about what you’d look like and your precious, little personality ever since I knew you were on your way. You are just as sweet and snuggly and beautiful as I imagined you’d be- actually, more!
In my newborn sessions, I always try to capture the details of all that makes you you and change so quickly as you grow. I have seen a lot of babies and I can say with authority that everything about you from your luscious locks to your tiny toes is scrumptiously perfect. I mean who could have predicted that beautiful head of hair?!? I have not met too many babies that already are having the perfect bang moment! Absolutely gorgeous!! I am glad that I was at your home instead of the studio because I only had a few headpieces (like, 50! Ha!) to choose from. Otherwise, I would have kept you there all day modeling for me!
I loved photographing you with your Mommy and Daddy too. The lighting at your house was ethereal and, frankly, just magic. You slept like such a dream, but never better than when you were in your parent’s arms. The pictures of your Daddy holding you against his chest are so stunning to me. You are so tiny and he is now and forever your protector. Your Mommy also looked unbelievably amazing and her hair looked like literal silk. I guess we all know where you got the great hair genes. She is stunning anyway, but she is never more beautiful than when she is in her element surrounding by you and your siblings.
I can’t wait to see you again already. You are so loved and I am blessed to be a small part of your life.
